The vet service I use has been very good. There is a young vet and an older vet. If the young vet comes she sleeves them with the ultrasound and if the older vet comes he just sleeves them . The older vet has been just as accurate in my experience. Sometimes you get one that's a month and a half off, but these vets call it on 2 week intervals and averaged over the whole herd they've been dead on. Although the young vet came this year and she found one heifer that was bred, but said she could see on her visor that the calf was dead, so I guess technology wins out.
