| I'm putting Harvest lab on the 8600. We'll see if its improved over what it was then. It worked well in some crops. My main pick was, it didn't work well enough across the board, to justify the price. I have talked to some others that are running them and they are satisfied with what they do. So I cant say much until I put in some more time with one. I was on the fence about getting harvest lab and for some reason leaned this way. To better answer your question though, yes there are some changes. I understand there are more crop 'curves'(which will help with my main pick) and the way it mounts and adjusts is way better on the 8's. There may be other changes as well, I'm not sure right off. About the video, I do know that the 8600 is going to have to smoke the 8500 in order to beat a 7980. Maybe they will, however I would say that the 8500 was very slightly less capacity than my 7750. This was simply giving it the eyeball test, nothing to go on really. This helped me form my opinion that the ones in the videos are higher horse prototypes. If I had to put money on it, I would say that the 86 will 'slightly' out do the 7750, but we'll see. | |
