Eagles are not a smart way to own silver. Dealers wont tell you this because they make a big premium off them. You can get about 20 % more silver by taking it in other forms that have less designer appeal. When the price goes up, and it will. Period. You will have more raw value by taking the less splurgy forms of the metal, junk is a good way to go as well as off brand bars.
