I can agree up to the point you say
ehoff - I want flats no rounds.
As a seed grower I can tell you all that means is it was a good pollinating male in the seed field. Good pollination means lots of kernels on the ear and flats. Rounds just mean for whatever reason it didn't pollinate and there was plenty of space between kernels.
