| Calves can get pneumonia easily if you make the holes in the nipples bigger. Replacing nipples often is a good idea. It's frustrating when they take forever to drink a bottle, but the saliva they produce from sucking is very beneficial. I wouldn't worry too much about the bottles collapsing. They will usually spring back after they are washed. I run very hot water into the bottles and they pop right back into place. They cost only a few dollars to replace, which is better than a calf getting pneumonia. :) | |
