Subject: RE: Stupid Time Change

Bremen, KS
I do remember that DST experiment. I was in grade school and our first recess was around 9:30 AM or so. I recall going outside for recess and the sun had just popped over the horizon. Apparently it didn't make a difference as the idea hasn't been revisited although we're getting close with only four months and one week of standard time since 2007.

Having an extra hour of daylight did help last week when getting the last milo cut after getting off work. It is a silly ritual and actually quite costly to a lot of online systems unless they adopt UTC. My involvement with amateur radio has made me quite comfortable with UTC.
