 I had to come back and read your description again,..........and again.d:-) But now I sorta see what you are getting at. That is actually a cool way to do this. I had not thought of that. Just bump a momentary switch to activate the latch. That's interesting. Thanks for bringing it to the thread.

 I'm thinking I may be better off to just buy a new actuator with a potentiometer and use a common controller. Sometimes I get too focused on what I have on hand.
