Example on your Droid Razr Maxx. Dad got that about the same time I got my iPhone 4S. When is the last time you had a major software update on the Razr Maxx? Or even a minor security update? I guess I don't use his phone a lot but I'm pretty sure he's several generations behind the newest Android OS, whereas you can get iOS 8 for the iPhone 4S which will be good for at least a year.
