NW central IL | ive had 2 neighbors burn me in the last 3 years, each time the yield is higher where its burnt. beck hybrids plot book showed higher yields with burning, then 28% then ripped, moldboarded, or no-till....then they state they are not trying to promote controlled burns...id guess longterm maybe it could would hurt, but in a one year situation it helps here. our o.m. is in the 3-5% range though....
