Subject: Profits beating the Street.. GPRE at $1.03

GPRE reported this morning.. $1.03 vs the Street at $0.89

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/green-plains-tops-3q-profit-090402735.html

PEIX reports after the close later today..

Why would plants back off on grind if they are making $$$?  Other than maintenance or what not..

Destination plants can source grain from anywhere they can originate the cheapest price.. that model has some advantages in a transportation challenged market.. vs trying to push ethanol through the wormhole.. out of the upper Midwest.  Btw they also raise grain in Cali.. not so much.. but some.  We can get the grain to them..  and the dairies out there can use the Wet Distillers..  Dairies are back in the black.

From what I'm hearing.. "Full bore ahead." heck even some talk of ethanol exports out of Cali..???
