Subject: RE: WTI vs. Brent

NCND
Brent has become not of the world benchmark for oil prices as it targets a larger area of Mediterranean and Europe.

WTi use I trade premium to Brent but then the glut of oil at Cushing ok where it's priced has led to it being prices at discount to Brent. The largest confluence of all oil pipelines in world is in Cushing. The flood of oil from nd has contributed to the discount for WTi as hy are swimming in oil there. The consistent inability of Cushing to move oil out created the discount initially in 2010.

Brent is of lower quality oil but is still sweet.

Oh and miss Simpson looked oh so good back in those days. Her tie to oil? Clint murchison was one of the original Texas oil tycoons. His son Clint jr was the founder of the Dallas cowboys who employ Jessica's old boyfriend tony romo.
