Subject: RE: Hold on now . . . .. time for some Iced Tea ?

central - east central Minnesota -

Sat - 10/27/2014 14:05 Here's something from a world famous old boy 48 from Ag Web. This was confirmed this morning...... Strong dollar/weak Euro/cheap ocean freight this can and will happen............. "Big Chicken in the SE is importing EU FEED WHEAT cuz it's cheaper than using US corn. Not exactly bullish corn. This is due to high rail rates which are due to Obama not approving pipelines so that his supporter...Warren Buffet...owner of the BNSF RR...can get 3X the rates shipping oil that he can get shipping grain.Remember that when you vote in Nov. Remember that when you go to the grocery store. Buy US beef instead of EU wheat fed chicken."

Keep it in perspective . .  ..

Remember - that darned "pipeline" the big mean black guy is keeping from the world . . . . . .

If that pipeline was fully functioning today - it would have ZERO impact on grain rail freight - Rail would still be shipping oil.

In this mornings news - Transportation Dept, that is watching rail freight, found that the longest a grain shipment has sat was 6 days . . . . it had a oil shipment sit 2 days - it's being watched and infor complied. . . .  the point is, it's not as bad as everyone seems to bring up.
If the chicken boys are using 6 days as an issue to get their corn from US rather then EU . . . . well, there's much more to the story.
