Corn lost its E-BOOM market shine,,,pretty much all of it,,,since early 2013 to near current time frame. The answer WHY,,,,,is the acres WE AS PRODUCERS (world wide) PLANTED IN 2013 in respond to that 8.492 high......................................... Just other time in history that WE over did it................................. Its not the USDA'S fault,,,The funds,Big Oil,CME Groups Casino,this that or thy other Commercial Traders........................ GO LOOK AT YOURSELF IN MIRROR and ask YOURSELF,,,,,,,,,,,,,,much corn did I plant in 2006 compared to 2013 ? ? ? I rest my case,,,even to Mr. Sheepy...........................
There has been some MISCONCEPTION that "the funds" were short corn this summer as total OR class of funds. YES they have been as a group/class of funds they have been short,maybe more so short with options added in. With the numbers I give out on money flows,,,

THEY HAVE NOT BEEN NET SHORT SINCE 2-4-2014

Beans on the other hand they went short for the first time in history (as a total group of NON-commercial traders) ((futures only)) on 7-15-2014 First time EVER "The Funds" went net short beans.............................. On 9-16-2014 "the funds" were a new all time record short of -32K, have been net buyers 4 out of 5 weeks and currently sitting at +7k net LONG. YES LONG just this week they went long with net buying of 14k.........................11k of this was NET NEW BUYING,,,,where the prior weeks were dominated by short cover and long liquidation.
I AM shorting to question my bearish in beans.............. BUT yes I know you guys and sheepy hate those buts,,,I'm gonna stick me me,my my bearish "hunch" at least for a few more day and let things shake out a bit more...........................
The "bit more" does include CHINA and SA rains. This "bit more" takes some help and lots of time figuring out when and what price China bought a pile of beans last summer AFTER the June 30th report. I am hinting for someone to look up each weeks beans exports to China ! ! ! ! !

As you can tell I'm in a good mood this morning,it was 75 degrees here yesterday,windy,dry,low humidly,65 today sunny beautiful weather to gets things done outside that's been to wet and muddy to do since the fall of 2011....................The pocket gophers are just starting to talk to me here that things look dryer for 2015 in the north land. NO I have not been on the sauce.................... I'm just weird
