Central IL | Like my brother said in the previous post, get a good plow. Even if it's a 40 year old Link or Zor plow, they are commercial grade plows that are a proven machine for contractors. Around here we couldn't do much tiling without a trencher for the mains. We had been doing quite a bit of other dirt work before we started tiling so we had quite a bit of experience with lasers and grades. We went to Overholt drainage school at Ohio state. I would recommend doing that. Even if you have gps you still need to know why it's doing what it's doing. Best thing to do is start on your own ground. Learn on your own dollar. It's not rocket science but it's not something you learn over night either. Have fun! | |
