| Make sure your concaves are level. Meaning when you look at your concaves, all 3 should be even with each other. I have a new to me 5088, and am having thrashed and unthrashed pods. Cant get a clean sample either and have run axial flow combines for 30 years. I have one concave that is 3/8'' lower than the other two. Prior owner had a nice size rock through it. Will be replacing some concaves this winter. Sample in corn is very good. | |
