Biggest downfall I can see would be if it gets really wet, the dirt may get soft. Other than that.....you are good to go.
I'm hoping that it can get a year's worth of driving over/winter/spring/summer seasons, etc. to get it settled in really well before we get a wet fall (it's been a mostly dry fall around here so far)........
