Wi | Our D series Cat doesn't regen very often. Exhaust is right behind cab and angled so it won't light anything on fire.
When it wants to regen it flashes and you turn the rpm up into the green area and keep working. You can also just park it and it will automatically do it.
If you ignore it eventually it will force you to do a parked regen but that is only if you ignore it. As long as you bump the RPMs up when it first asks things stay cleaned.
Don't idle them at all and work the snot out of them if you can. I don't care for having to deal with it but zi really like the new series machines and their advancements.
Green space on throttle dial is for regen
DPF is between engine and cab. 3-5k hr service life
