Subject: RE: dpf regen in skidsteers

Central, IA
DPF regen in a poultry building with 4" of powder dry sawdust on the floor scares the crap out of me. We had been trading annualy the last few years, but kept our tier 3's this year and when hopefully run the quite a while.

I think We could handle the def, but cleanliness is an issue when the guys fill it. With our field tractors, we have a tank in the shop and can run several days on each tractor before filling. I talked to a New Holland rep and the progress show when I was looking at their skid loaders. I asked about def usage, and he thought it would equal to fuel usage on the t4 final motors. I sure hope he was wrong.
