NJ | Ok so say you buy a 12.00 call on soybeans for July 2015. As far as I can tell on cbot it would cost about 9 cents. So if you bought 10000 bu of a 12$ strike price of July 2015 it would cost 90$? If soybeans hit 12$ in July 2015 your call would be worth about 2.60$ a bu making it 26000$? Is that even remotely how this works? I think I get the idea but I could be completely incorrect and this seems like the place to ask. | |
