Subject: Markets and women...

Frytown, Iowa
When will we figure them out? For weeks you butter them up making massive gains and heading to territory you feel really comfortable with.

Then all of a sudden lock limit down... 2 days in a row! The first day you thought it would just go away... You ignored the report that came out stating family time came in less THAN EXPECTED... Sheesh, it's harvest time you say. This was right in line with USDA historical data ... But it doesn't matter. What matters was the expectations of those who matter and those expectations were not met.

Lock limit down again... What to do? You try averaging down thinking its just a pull back and will sort itself out. You still have a lot of work yet, spray 24d on lawns, grind feed chore, fix grain spreader on top of bin...

You miss supper.

Free fall... Crap, now you have givin up any gains you had previously worked up as apparent to the request of now sleeping on the couch and coffee pot only made enough for her...

Flowers, chocolates, apologies for neglect of "quality time" promises to be a better man... You sell at a loss...

Turns out the market turned around intraday and made new highs... Ignoring daily limits.

Sheesh. The odds are stacked against us everywhere. Sometimes we pride ourselves in just playing the game and breaking even.
