The thing about young bucks is there are 10 times the young bucks that need be... Your view of the flustered "poor me" young bucks are the ones that don't have patience and are getting weeded out.

Monopolies don't happen over night or even in one generation. They are multi generation. Competition doesn't happen overnight or even in one generation either. Don't underestimate the opportunities that arise in volatile markets. Maybe I am young and dumb yet but from looking at the other younger farmers in my area they look really responsible and headed to success.
