Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
Is the corn with the higher moisture levels arriving at the same time as the corn with the lower moisture levels? If so could you be seeing a difference between early planted corn and later planted corn?
What proportion of the corn received is higher moisture vs lower moisture? Crop progress reports for Iowa'14 suggests that 23% of the corn was planted prior to the week ending 5/4, 47 % was planted between 5/4 & 5/11 and the remaining 30% was planted after that. Currently corn planted here about 5/15 is 25% moisture.
