I was wondering when the last time that we had a limit move in either corn or beans. I am kind of curious and see that the new limits are 35 cents on corn and a dollar on beans.
Currently corn and bean ratio on dec. corn and nov beans, for 14, is 9.34/3.42 ratio of 2.73. Limit down move for beans, corn remains same, would be 8.34/3.42 or 2.438.
I'm pretty bullish and think that the lows are in on both (let's same I'm 55% sure), but anyone care to hazard a guess on the results of Friday's report? My broker called and said that this Friday is usually a big "move" day for the markets, as the markets tend to have a big reaction to the September report.
Does this Friday's USDA report adjust acres, or just the expected yields?
