South East South Dakota/winters Tucson, AZ | The corn was planted first week of July followed by fertilizer spreader with turnips, radishes, kale and crimson clover the 3rd week of july. It rained 2 days after spreading the cover crops and then it received 8 inches august and September.
For the grazing corn I used old seed i found in the shed, some of it was 5 years old and population of 40,000. Next year I am going to plant Master choice Master graze for my grazing corn. I am expanding my grazing corn acres the cattle are really looking good.
