NC Indiana | We're feeding 3% of body weight 2/3 corn:1/3 glutten mix with .75#/hd/day co balancer with monensin. Then we add 5#/hd/day hay or baleage if we're feeding corn silage or 10#/hd/day if we're not feeding corn silage. We were using Steakmaker Co-Product Balancer THI R700 Medicated, but the local coop decide to drop livestock products from this product line so I'm looking for a new product or source to use for my co-balancer. This is on color beef calves. Could use a little beet pulp mixed in that corn ration on replacement heifers. | |
