| I dunno Steve, only a handful of people were talking about those excessive early season rains and very few of them were talking heads or Chicago traders. When it's 104 degrees on LaSalle Street, everybody gets excited. When corn is drowning 500 miles from Chicago, they don't see it or care. I still don't really know how that all plays out for the northern corn belt, but it's pretty well hidden somewhere in the 80% of the crop which hasn't seen combines yet. |
