my years in the business we either grow the biggest or smallest crops with dry springs, planting goes in quick and if the rain comes so does the crop, if the rain does not come then crop shrinks accordingly, must be awful dry to not seed see more delayed seeding because it is too wet to get into the field sometimes even seen aircraft seeding into wet soils.
