let's hear it Idea.
EDIT:
How about I just make it simple:
1 oz of Gold.
Three years time.
That gives us enough time for either person to be right.
If the price is lower on October 7, 2017, deflation must have prevailed and you'll have won the bet. I'll buy you the Oz of gold.
If the price is higher on the same date, I'll have won and you buy the oz for me.
