Seems historically we're $25-30 lower than out west. I posted pix of our home raised (except 1 Angus steer and 3 BIM heifers for 4-H) feeders up above under the "My Feed Guy" post. I was told they would average $2, but then he said during the sale they were up so who knows. At $2, we were thinking of add to ours. Lots of 5-10 cow outfits here so you buy lots of 1's and 2's till they split up the heifers and steers and sort any kind of weight breaks. I know my BIL's outfit has been getting in pot loads of eastern and southern calves for $2.05, but there's a wide range of weight, color, and age on them.
