| You have an open mind and I can tell you get it.
The reason people are frustrated is easy, just look at my signature below. They hate bears on here. Most of them missed the boat that post hate toward me, and hate to see it brought up. There just kicking themselves while taking it out on the bears like myself.
No farming isn't a recreation. Its my only occupation.
You can still farm and be on both sides. I try to hedge at the top end of the range, and then can lift hedges at the bottom(and be long). Or not be hedged at all which will be the case shortly.
Or like I was from basically 2010-2012 and not do much hedging at all because we rallied every year, in which I was long. The last two years are different in 2013 and 2014. Have sold in June both years full year's production corn and soy. I also have 50% sold for 2015--some from this June at $4.60 , and the other 25% from way back in 2012 at $5.71. Also 50% for 12.10 2015 soybean production.
