western iowa,by Denison | the problem is the actual dollars involved=with $4,000 cows and $2000 feeders all of a sudden it puts the young guys out-as they can not borrow enough to get in-no different then the run up in ground to $15,000 a acre
I think there is more concern that way then anything else-anytime something doubles in 1 year we will have a price to pay
I seen a lot of farmers ruined in markets like this
I guess the next thing to happen is tipping the cattle buyers like the grain farmers did with there landlords when corn went up-was that called a bonus payment so they wouldn't loose the ground? | |
