Subject: RE: Excellent article about California water crisis

Fresno, California
A lot of the water from the reservoir's in northern California, is used to support the endangered fish and flush the sewage from our State Capitol in Sacramento out to the sea through San Francisco Bay. Southern California has water rights to much of the Sacramento river. San Francisco gets 80% of its water from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir in Yosemite National Park, there would be enough water in the Valley for farming with out over drafting the aquifer, If we had more reservoirs and we didn't have to support the water demands of Southern California and San Francisco Bay area.
As long as Government and Politician's control our water farming is doomed, many communities in our state are limiting households to fifty gallons of water per day per person.
