Again, Ethanol was NOT the major factor causing corn prices to hit $7.  I guess it is human nature to want simple causes and solutions to complex issues.

The requirement to blend ethanol into gasoline, as many government al decisions, was and remains a complex one. However the benefits to rural America have been great in many ways. This is very evident in the northern plains and upper midwest. Maybe more so than in the south.
