Pairs I watched on Superior were $3100-$3800.  Bred heifers were almost all lower last week over previous month by $200-$400, but still all but one good set sold for over $2500.  Only a few broke $3K this time, the mediocre lots that had crazy stupid calving spreads were right around $2K/hd.  If you don't mind calving for 5-6 months you could probably do real well.

Craziest money was in the $2K and $2K+ 7 weight replacement heifers.

Those $2K red heifers were really nice but boy is that a lot of money 15-17 months out from calving.
