In general, what value do you put on the USDA AMS feeder cattle auction reports?  Are they useful in making marketing decisions?  Are they complete enough for you?

Just wondering out loud as someone who feeds out a few calves each year...nice to have some basic information, but I always wonder if I am missing something that is crucial.  If you compare their totals vs the sum of the entries you see they don't capture everything...is that right?
