Without something solid to push against your going (or your son) to have to use your scoop shovel a lot or destroy the sides of that crib with the skid loader.
In a previous life I worked at a dairy that tried something like what you're doing it didn't work at all. But since I was the dumb/cheap labor it didn't matter.
Is my new corn crib NAT approved?
