Went to the Midwest plans stored at North Dakota State University, the suggested width for all but a small area along the Missouri/Kansas line is 8 ft. Your real dry corn would change this quickly, if your corn was 20 to 25%, then the 8 ft. width would likely be necessary, but you could always use the second most useful found item after duct tape, pallets.
