They seem to be about 6 feet wide in Minnesota. Build the floor up higher than the ground around it.If the crib is like this you can start at 25% moisture. Try to start sooner than totally dry so that it doesn't shell so bad when the cob hits the snapping rolls. When the ears tip down on the stalk is when to start I was always told.
