| My 7 year old asked me last night I think I know, but need some expert knowledge. A neighbor has 2 concrete stave silos side by side and they share a common metal roof. Why the single roof? My guess is this allows for the sharing of a single unloader between the 2, but I have no idea. The setup is somewhat common on farms with older multiple silos. I can get a picture if that'd help.
