Central Texas | Just looked and noted that June 15 fats are almost $10 under April fats and Jan feeders are $6 under Nov feeders. Feeders willing to pay more for animal that will finish in April over one that finishes later. Most of the large feeding operations have sophisticated hedging/risk management programs that try to buy whatever wt feeders can lock in the best margins so demand changes as the economics change. | |
