Do you have the top feed roll blocked up so its more open than when u chop silage? I haven't chopped earlage in years but when I did with my fox and my uni that was one of the adjustment for earlage . Both of those choppers had wood blocks that u put in there and you loosened up the tension on the rolls to let it feed better.
