Beresford, SD | Drilled winter rye into 32 acres harvested for silage on Thursday, Custom operators drill did not penetrate the soil very well, Dad is going to lightly disc it in the am and Sylar (my boy) is going to hook up the 4320 to the old (antique) brillion and roll it tomorrow. Plan is to run out 200 calves on it this spring.......But the seed was $15/ bushel............Heck I might take it all the way to combining...seeded 150#/acre.
