Id like to offer a little advice. MIG welded steel needs to be clean before welding. Prep work is as critical as the weld itself. Notice the appearance of the steel on the ends of the pipe. The two areas to be joined by the weld should be as clean as the end of the pipe in your picture to obtain a proper weld. Your job does not look bad, but there is some room for improvement. Consider turning up the heat a notch or two. Some of the welds appear to have inadequate pentration. | |
