Pedee, Oregon | It was around the time when Kubota bought Kvernland. They had a pile of cash and were aggressively looking to expand with a larger tractor(s) in Europe and North America. There was quite a bit of press about it in 2012 I think. Perhaps they did get rebuffed and went all on their own, I don't doubt that Kubota is capable of doing so. I for one wouldn't mind seeing Kubota use some of SDF's tech with their quality manufacturing and distribution. Regardless, I am glad to see them competing in this size class. | |
