I bale all our bean straw, I would say its about a 1/4 the bales per acre vs cornstalks, that's windrowed with a walker combine. I absolutely WILL NOT RAKE beanstraw then bale, to much dirt. And I don't see it being any harder on the belts than corn stalks and the bales keep much better then cornstalks as well
