we ran a 3970 3 row with a kinke repower 5020 for 13 years with no problems. the drivelines on these choppers are as strong as the late 3000 fox we previously had--one of the secrets of success with any chopper is sharp knives and frequent resetting the shearbar and making sure it is in good condition.
