High corn prices don't hurt hog farmers nearly as much as low pork prices do....
It doesn't really matter how you arrive there but anytime you're selling price is below your cost of production it hurts.

Totally agreed, Ross- just pointing out that corn prices are not necessarily in lock-step with pork profits. Corn prices went in the crapper for awhile during 2009 too, and the hog guys weren't exactly doing the best with that either....
