We've used our 8310 that dyno's 245 for years.  Put the 9100 on it this spring and summer 260 hp worked fine.  Just use the machine like you want to keep it for a long time and don't push it.  Our 3970 has a gauge on the feedrolls that helps you to know where you are at on capacity so we don't overload it.
