iowa | Our local ethanol plant has a grain buyer that told me that farmers are always optimistic that prices are going up and always pessimistic that yields will be worse than predicted. After reading the articles on this site, that has always been the case. I cannot believe that some farmers think the prices are going to turn around this quick when we are about to harvest record crops. And yes, we need to realize it is going to be a record crop, even if your one small area has some problems. | |
