You hit on my marketing plan for the last 10 years pbutler. I tried a lot of different marketing plans early in my farming career but came back to what my dad did for many years and that is selling a set amount for the best price over 9 or 10 months after he was confidant on how much he had grown. He survived the 70 and 80s when a bunch of neighbors crashed and burned! One thing I learned in a marketing class I took a long time ago was " If you don't remember anything from this class remember this, it never goes as high as they say it will and it never goes as low as they say it will" So my advice to all the bulls and bears on this site is to know this statement has always played well for me in the grains
